Founded in 2017, SerenDPT is a Benefit Corporation with a clear mission: create high profile job in Venice by developing Made in Venice tech products, in order to solve some of the city’s problems in several strategic areas and then sell those solutions in the rest of the world.We believe in open innovation and contamination between digital and tradition as essential ingredients to valuable projects with impact on our territory and real social benefits.
The Team
Fabio Carrera
Fabio Carrera is a professor at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), where he directs the Venice and Santa Fe Project Centers. He has recently launched SerenDPT (Serenissima Development and Preservation through Technology), a startup factory dedicated to the creation of high-tech jobs for talented venetian youths, headquartered in the ex-church of Saints Cosmas and Damian on the Giudecca island in Venice.
Luca Giuman
Luca Giuman 57 age from Venice (Italy), is the CEO of Datasoil, an innovative startup inside the artificial intelligence sector and the implementation of open innovation projects.
Since he is focused on the digital startups universe he was inside the constituent board of many startups, that’s why we worked until 2015 in the management of many companies producing services. Today he is also partner of SerenDPT SRL SB.
Marco Bertoldi
Marco Bertoldi is a venetian of 35 years old. He worked for almost 10 years in emergency context in different countries of sub-saharan Africa, South America and Middle East.
He worked inside emergency project as finance coordinator in many different sectors, managing Now ha manage an NGO and work for SerenDPT
